Grower Profile
In 1709 the Chon family moved here from Burgundy and brought with them the local ‘Melon’ grape, which turned out to be very well suited to the climate of the Loire. With family traditions along side modern innovations, they produce a complete range of wines, from small vineyards they now have all over the valley. Their whites are perfect wines adopting the technique of ‘lutte controlle’, i.e. organic viticulture. Respecting the nature approved by Terre Vitis.
