We decided last year to give the south of Italy a good look round and we have come up with a selection of amazing wines, and what is more incredible, value for money wines. Wines that can be put on a list as House Wines with a difference. All are made using local grape varieties, some of which are ancient indeed. The first two we have here from Sicily are made from the local Grecanico white grape and the Nero d’Avola, a red, more well known when used in a blend, but here allowed to show all its crimson glory and perfumed nose.
